Previous research experience as Visiting researcher at IBM Research Zurich, Invited Professor at Ecole Central Paris, Ikerbasque Visiting Professor at DIPC and full Professor at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Doctor in Condensed Matter Physics (1987) from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), Spain.
