About UCC
Euskampus Fundazioa has a special commitment to communication and scientific culture through its social dimension and interaction with the area. The Conversion to Euskampus CEI Campus of International Excellence has fostered a rich programme of actions to promote scientific culture in the Basque community since the project was created, with the aim of increasing the perception of social implications from scientific and technological developments, and fostering creativity and scientific vocation the new generations people.
Accordingly, Euskampus Fundazioa has been accredited as a Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i) by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) since 2012. As such, it plays a coordinating role in promoting the scientific culture and innovation of the institutions of the Board of Trustees. In particular, Euskampus Fundazioa and the Chair of Scientific Culture of the UPV/EHU, have a symbiotic relationship that strengthens and enhances the aims of each institution.
