CALL FOR RESEARCHERS
Euskampus Fundazioa, a non-profit organisation founded by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Fundación Tecnalia and the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC), are looking to recruit a researcher to work in the Agirre Lehendakari Center to work part-time in the project : Qualitative Research into the Basque Higher Education System.
Characteristics of the Project: The aim of the project is to analyse in depth the higher education system of the Autonomous Region of the Basque Country, from a historical and qualitative point of view, including the universities and the vocational training system, in order to assess its contribution to Basque society. The project will be led by Agirre Lehendakari Center working in partnership with UPV/EHU's Faculty of Social and Communication Sciences and the London School of Economics-LSE, which will provide methodologies for the area of ethnographic research.
Tasks: Research assistance (managing the research and helping with the research tasks – interviews, transcripts, etc.)

Contract conditions:
Length: 7 months, November 2017 to May 2018
Time commitment: Part-time 50% approximately.
Candidate requirements: Degree in Social Sciences.
Command of written and oral Basque and Spanish.
Command of written and oral English desirable.
Master's degree in research, research aptitude, and Ph.D. desirable.
Interest and/or experience in qualitative research desirable.
