The Thematic University-Business Forum was held in Donostia-San Sebastian on 18th and 19th October, as part of the city's activities as European Capital of Culture 2016. Around 140 people from diverse sectors and nationalities from Europe and beyond participated in this forum. The event included 3 parallel sessions, 4 keynote speakers and two plenary round tables. On the other hand, the presence of over 20 European universities and over 35 companies and business associations must be highlighted. Finally, the importance of the UB Forum to foster university-business relations in the Basque Country must be mentioned. 

University-Business forum tematikoa Donostian egin zen urriaren 18an eta 19an, 2016ko Europako Hiriburutzaren barruan. Hainbat sektoretako eta askotariko herrialdeetako 140 pertsonak parte hartu zuten foroan, baita Europatik kanpokoek ere. Ekitaldiarekin batera, 3 saio paralelo, 4 hitzaldi nagusi eta osoko bi mahai inguru egin ziren. Bestalde, aipatzekoa da Europako 20 unibertsitatetik gora eta 35 enpresa eta enpresa elkarte baino gehiago izan zirela foroan. Azkenik, nabarmendu behar da UB Forum garrantzitsua dela Euskadin unibertsitate eta enpresen arteko harremanak sustatzeko.

El University-Business Forum temático se celebró en Donostia-San Sebastián los días 18 y 19 de octubre, siendo una actividad englobada en la Capitalidad Europea de la ciudad el año 2016. En dicho fórum han participado alrededor de 140 personas provenientes de múltiples sectores, y diversas nacionalidades, incluso de fuera de Europa. El evento contó con 3 sesiones paralelas, 4 ponencias principales y dos mesas redondas plenarias. Por otro lado, cabe destacar la presencia de más de 20 universidades europeas, además de más de 35 empresas y asociaciones empresariales. Por último, es de mencionar la importancia del UB Fórum para el impulso de las relaciones universidad-empresa en Euskadi.

The registration period for the seventh edition of the On Zientzia competition for the production of short videos on science jointly organised by the DIPC and Elhuyar has opened. Registration will be open from 19th October to 26th April 2017 and videos on scientific or technological issues in Basque, Spanish or English with a maximum duration of 5 minutes will be accepted. The works presented will be divided into three categories: dissemination videos, videos in Basque and young videos (under the age of 18).

DIPCk eta Elhuyarrek elkarrekin antolatzen duten zientziari buruzko bideo laburrak ekoizteko On Zientzia lehiaketaren zazpigarren edizioan izena emateko epea zabalik egongo da urriaren 19tik 2017ko apirilaren 26ra arte, eta zientziari edo teknologiari buruzko gaien inguruko bideoak jasoko dira, euskarazkoak, gaztelaniazkoak edo ingelesezkoak eta gehienez ere 5 minutukoak. Aurkezturiko lanak hiru kategoriatan sailkatuko dira: dibulgaziozko bideoak, euskarazko bideoak eta bideo gazteak (18 urtetik beherakoenak).

El concurso On Zientzia de producción de videos cortos sobre ciencia organizado conjuntamente por el DIPC y Elhuyar, ha abierto el plazo para inscribirse en su séptima edición. El plazo de inscripción estará abierto desde el 19 de octubre hasta el 26 de abril de 2017, y se recogerán vídeos sobre temas científicos o tecnológicos, en euskara, español o inglés, con 5 minutos de duración máxima. Los trabajos presentados se repartirán en tres categorías; videos de divulgación, videos en euskera y videos jóvenes (menores de 18 años).

The 2nd UPV/EHU Trail on a mountain circuit will take place on 30th October, starting off and finishing at the Leioa Campus of the UPV/EHU. Participants in the race must be over 18 years old and will be classified into three categories: Senior, Veterans and UPV/EHU. Each race category will be timed and prizes will be awarded with the general classification prevailing. Furthermore, students of the UPV/EHU participating in the race will be given 1 optional credit for Degrees or 2 Free Choice Credits. Participants in the race must register free of charge by 27th October at the latest.

Urriaren 30ean II UPV/EHU Trail egingo da mendi zirkuitu batean. UPV/EHUko Leioako Campusean hasi eta amaituko da lasterketa. Lasterketan parte hartzeko, 18 urtetik gora eduki beharko dira, eta hiru kategoriatan banatuko dira parte hartzaileak: seniorrak, beteranoak eta UPV/EHUkoak. Lasterketaren modalitatea kronometratua izango da, eta sariak sailkapen orokorraren arabera banatuko dira. Gainera, lasterketan parte hartzen duten UPV/EHUko ikasleei graduko hautazko kreditu 1 edo aukera askeko 2 emango zaizkie. Parte hartzaileek aurretik eman beharko dute izena, doan, urriaren 27a baino lehen.

El 30 de octubre tendrá lugar la II UPV/EHU Trail sobre un circuito de montaña con salida y llegada en el Campus de Leioa de la UPV/EHU. Los participantes en la carrera tendrán que ser mayores de 18 años y se clasificarán en tres categorías: Senior, Veteranos y UPV/EHU. La modalidad de la carrera será cronometrada y los premios se repartirán prevaleciendo la clasificación general. Además, a los estudiantes de la UPV/EHU que participen en la misma se les concederá 1 crédito optativo de Grado ó 2 de Libre Elección. Los participantes en la carrera deberán inscribirse previamente de forma gratuita antes del día 27 de octubre.
