Elena Urdaneta

I have a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Navarra (UPNA). After presenting my Doctorate thesis on Nutrition Physiology and being a professor of Physiology and Physiopathology, I did a post-doctoral stay at the UCLA (Los Angeles, USA) Physiology Department with Dr E. M. Wright.

I then worked as a staff Doctorate Lecturer at the UPNA Department of Environmental Sciences and I have been accredited by the ANECA as a full Professor of Health Sciences.

I was the R&D Director of the Ingema Foundation from 2009 to 2012 and later for the Basque Culinary Centre.

I joined Euskampus in April 2017 as the Director of Cooperative Innovation after having managed a variety of complex international and interdisciplinary projects over these years.

I believe motivation and cooperation are the keys to finding answers to complex challenges like those that our society is currently facing. I have had the enormous pleasure of being able to grow and learn from other people, researchers, professional and students, and their questions and doubts have always made me search even further for answers.

I am a curious person and I am delighted to be able to continue to learn and face new challenges.
