2020 Strategic Approach

2020 Strategic Approach

The initial stage of the International Campus of Excellence (CEI) project (2011-2015), Euskampus Fundazioa has:

  • allowed key cooperative and interdisciplinary work to be done, bringing people together and managing differences and diversity within an autonomous, neutral space;
  • provided the agility required to make decisions and to develop the CEI Euskampus objectives and initiatives, mobilising a close-knit social community;
  • kept the CEI Euskampus project coherent with the original approach as it has been developed, while reaching beyond the period specified for the International Campus of Excellence call for applications;
  • expanded the boundaries of the CEI by facilitating the introduction of new international excellence programmes and initiatives.

In 2016 a new strategic plan for Euskampus Fundazioa was approved. This plan has the following Mission, Vision and Strategic Objectives.

“An interdisciplinary collaboration and multi-agent catalyst entity that aspires to increase the co-leadership of its strategic members”

Mission

Euskampus Fundazioa is an instrument that establishes mechanisms that foster relations, connection and mutual trust between its members, increasing their joint international projection and carrying out joint training, research and knowledge transfer and dissemination actions.

 Vision

An interdisciplinary collaboration and multi-agent catalyst entity that aspires to increase the co-leadership of its strategic members in territorial development and in their international projection, prompting local responses of high socio-economic value to global challenges.

 Strategic Objectives

  • [Interconnection and cultural transformation from a relational model]

To foster and manage complex cooperative actions that connect capacities within each entity of the Foundation, between the entities of the Foundation, with other entities of the region and with international entities, aimed at addressing social and global challenges and increasing the international excellence of the members of the Foundation.

  • [Interface for the members of the Foundation with external agents]

Establishing itself as a reference and support point to foster exchanges between Foundation members and public, private, local and international groups that may need or benefit from the training and research capacities of these members, designing and promoting custom services and projects to respond to the training, research and innovation ideas of such entities and groups.

  • [Unique initiatives of excellence, internationalisation and connection with the region.]

Receive and develop unique initiatives of excellence, internationalisation and connection with the region, which are difficult to be accommodated and managed by the members of the Foundation.
